Getting There By Railway
Regular service from Glasgow Central station via Paisley
Gilmour street station
(for Glaasgow Airport) to Wemyss Bay.
Ferry there to Rothesay on to the Isle Of Bute.
Getting There By Car
From Glasgow take the M8 westbound, then take the A78 southbound
to Wemyss Bay.

Parking is available in the train station or opposite the
Esso petrol station.
Getting There By Ferry
From Wemyss Bay Pier, 30 minute crossing to Rothesay on the Isle
Of Bute every 45 minutes.
No advanced booking necessary.
Alternative ferry service from Colintraive (on the Cowal
Peninsula) to Rhubodach on the north of bute, 5 minute crossing -
